Terms & conditions

  • Unless previously arranged, all hires require a deposit and photo identification (drivers licence).
  • Unless previously arranged, all equipment hire must be paid for upon pick-up of items with a credit (Visa or MasterCard only) or debit card.
  • Although A & R Portables will always endeavour to make sure all equipment is available, some items shown may not be available at all times.
  • Delivery and pick-up is a service we offer, though fees do apply. If there is no access to the site or there is waiting time involved, there will be additional charges.
  • Rates may change without notice.
  • Hire is charged as time out rather than time used.
  • Equipment hire is based on a 24 hour day, with 8 hours of use per day. If equipment is used longer or returned late, further charges may apply.
  • Consumables are charged on return of items (i.e. fuel).
  • Any punctures in tyres must be repaired or charges will apply.
  • Only appropriately licensed persons may use equipment whilst on hire.
  • All site accommodation is charged until returned to our yard.
  • Standard cleaning fees are charged on all site accommodation hire, equipment is charged subject to inspection on return.
  • There is a minimum of 28 days for hire on all site accommodation (including chemical toilets).
  • There are no stand-downs on site accommodation hire (including chemical toilets).
  • All quotes are valid for 30 days only.
  • All quotes are subject to availability when ordering.
  • All damages are charged to the client.
  • Lost, stolen, or broken goods will be charged at the cost of the replacement.
  • Terms and conditions of hire will apply at all times (these are available upon request).
  • We have hundreds of items for hire, so we can't display everything. All hire photos shown throughout this website are samples of what we stock and may not be the exact piece of equipment you receive.
  • Information has been supplied for your convenience only. A & R Portables cannot guarantee the correctness of this website .
  • A & R Portables will not be held liable for claims or losses arising from the use of this website.
  • Council approval may be required to place portables onsite . Obtaining this approval is the responsibility of the customer.
  • All sale units must be paid in full before leaving A & R Portables yard. A site inspection at our yard before payment is most welcome. A deposit may also be required before beginning work.
